Common questions
What’s included in the 9-day tour?
The tour covers everything from your Cali airport pickup to your final debrief: daily transport to launch sites, a retrieve vehicle throughout, seven nights lodging, daily breakfast, morning weather briefings, in-air radio coaching on every flight day, and evening debriefs. International flights, travel insurance (required), meals beyond breakfast, and personal flying equipment are not included.
What experience level do I need?
For the Guided XC Tour and Advanced Training you need a current P3 licence (or national equivalent) and at least one active flying season of cross-country experience. If you’re earlier in your training, our Beginner Services — run in partnership with Colombia Paragliding — are designed for P1–P2 pilots working toward their first solo and eventual XC qualification.
Can I bring my own glider?
Yes — most pilots fly their own equipment. We ask that your glider is in current annual check and rated for XC conditions (EN B or above for the XC tours). If you have questions about whether your equipment is suitable for the terrain or conditions, contact us before booking and we’ll give you an honest assessment.
What’s the refund policy?
Cancellations made more than 60 days before the tour start receive a full refund minus a processing fee. Cancellations 30–60 days before receive a 50% refund. Cancellations within 30 days are non-refundable, though we will credit your payment toward a future tour where possible. See the full refund policy for complete terms.
Do you offer equipment rental?
We don’t operate a rental fleet, but we maintain relationships with trusted local suppliers in Valle del Cauca and can advise on rental options. Contact us when you book and we’ll connect you with appropriate sources well ahead of your arrival date.
Is the tour suitable for solo travellers?
Yes — the majority of our pilots travel solo. Tour groups are assembled from individual bookings and are typically 3–6 pilots at a similar skill level. The shared experience of a week of flying, debriefing, and route planning tends to create lasting flying partnerships that extend well beyond the tour itself.
How do I book?
Use the Book Now button to reserve your spot. After booking you’ll receive a pre-departure questionnaire covering your experience level, glider, and any special requirements — this lets us pair you with the right guide and tailor the program to where you currently are.
